I love the deals and wide selection of products! Some-most of the weekly deals are crazy! Bogo/bogt/50%-75%off and so on. Fantastic seafood & meat markets! As well as the bakery, which will make you damn near anything you could dream up, they more then likely can do it, and you won't be going over on budget!

Great service produce is awesome. A young man named josh helped me so much was so polite idk why I was going anywhere else when they are so friendly and willing to help... we'll josh sure was!

I stopped into Price Chopper today while I was in the area, and overall I had a really solid experience. The store feels well-organized the moment you walk in, and it was easy to get around even with a decent amount of foot traffic. I took a bunch of photos while shopping because everything looked neat and well presented, especially the produce section. The fruits and vegetables were stocked nicely and looked fresh, which is always one of the main things I look for when choosing where to shop. The aisles are clearly labeled, so finding what I needed didn’t turn into a long hunt. I grabbed a few everyday items along with some things I wasn’t planning on getting, which is always a sign that the store is doing something right. The bakery area smelled great and had a nice variety, and the meat department looked clean and well managed. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is the prices. Some items felt a bit higher than what I’m used to paying at other grocery stores nearby. It wasn’t terrible, but it was noticeable enough for me to mention. Still, between the quality, the layout, and how easy the shopping experience was, I can’t complain too much. Overall, Price Cho

Dirty, Prices Higher Than Other Price Choppers, The Only Store Less Appealing Is Market 32 On North Plank Road In Newburgh. The Supposed Fresh Food On Sale Has And Three Day Sell By Dates, Produce Out For Sale Already Rotting. Pre-Packaged Cold Cuts Put Out For “Grab And Go” Convenience, Once Opened Are Either Slimy Or Ends That Should Be Sold In Plastic, Marked As Ends. Sold At A Discount To Put In Salads, You Don’t Hide Them In Pre-Packaged Bags Knowing People Don’t Have Time To Inspect. Dead Lobsters Don’t Stay In Tanks And Offered As “TODAYS SPECIAL” FIRST DAY FOOD SAFETY RULE If “Fish” Smells From Rear To Front Of The Store Its Not Fresh. Stay Off Phones While Staring At Customers Or Sneaking Outside To Smoke. When High Traffic Isles Are In Conditions It Looks Like People Were Fighting Over Earths Last Bottle Of Drinkable Water.

The Price Chopper in Poughkeepsie is absolutely disgusting and filthy, by far one of the dirtiest, sketchiest, and poorly run stores around. This location has gone WAY downhill over the years and is obviously not doing well at all. When I was here a few months ago, the entrance door was broken and half opened with caution and cones tape around it, yet there was no sign or notice alerting customers. Once inside the store, the entire front end smelled like stale cigarettes, mold, and weed. The deli and prepared foods areas looked very dirty. The floors behind the deli counter were dirty and needed to be swept and mopped. That whole section had very little to product choose from with lots of open floor space. What few prepared food items they had, didn’t look very fresh or appealing. It appears they’ve cut back that dept significantly, likely from poor sales. The cafe area looked dark and dingy. I found moldy strawberries, and rotten grapes on the shelves in the produce dept. In the meat dept, several meats were expiring the same day and a few others had turned brown.
